Lane Stadium was rocking for the Maroon Effect as the Hokies hosted Vanderbilt in front of the program’s eighth consecutive sellout crowd dating back to 2023. Despite the electric atmosphere, Tech came up short as Vanderbilt prevailed, 44-20. The Hokies will look to bounce back next Saturday, Sept. 13, hosting Old Dominion at Lane Stadium.
