CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Virginia Tech's Oct. 4 game against Wake Forest will kick at 1 p.m. in Lane Stadium as announced by the Atlantic Coast Conference on Monday. The game will be televised by the CW.
The contest will also serve as the Hokies’ annual Orange Effect game, as fans are encouraged to wear orange and create an unforgettable Lane Stadium atmosphere.
The Hokies and Demon Deacons have met 40 times previously, with the Hokies holding a 26-13-1 record in the series. The two teams last met in October of 2023, a 30-13 Hokies win in Blacksburg.
