SPARKS, MARYLAND - Virginia Tech lacrosse continues to collect accolades on and off the field as nine student-athletes were named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Academic Honor Roll for the 2024-25 academic year. 

Virginia Tech's honorees include:
Keelin Byrne, Junior, Public Relations
Caroline Doffermyre, Junior, Political Science - Legal Studies
Kate Elam, Graduate, Political Science
Aaliyah Jones, Graduate, Public Health
Elizabeth Labbe, Graduate, Marketing Management
Caroline Little, Junior, Marketing Management
Katie McCarthy, Graduate, Advertising
Molly Re, Junior, Human Development
Emma Rowland, Junior, Criminology

Criteria for this Division I academic honor roll recognition include junior, senior, and graduate student-athletes recording a cumulative GPA of 3.5 and above and is based on athletic eligibility. 

The Hokies were also named a 2025 IWCLA Academic Honor Squad, a status for teams that have recorded a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year.
