KAITLYN COOK

 

Kaitlyn Cook joins the Virginia Tech track & field program from Chesterfield, Va. after competing collegiately for Tennessee State in the 2025 season.

Cook, a jumps and hurdles athlete, specializes in the triple jump and the 60mH, with personal-bests of 12.88m and 8.70.  

Kaitlyn was the 2025 OVC Outdoor Championships individual champion in the triple jump, where she reached her personal-best mark of 12.88m (42'3.25").  She also accumulated bronze medals at the OVC Indoor Championships in the 60mH (8.70) and the triple jump (12.13m).

She is the daughter of Ishsherrie and Eddie Cook, and has one sister, Kambria.  Her father, Eddie, was a professional boxer who won the WBA bantamweight title in 1992.  Kaitlyn will major in entrepreneurship and innovation with a minor in psychology.

Fulton_Ashley

ASHLEY FULTON

 

Ashley Fulton joins the Virginia Tech track & field program from Elmont, N.Y. after competing collegiately for Clemson in the 2025 season.

Fulton, a sprinter, specializes in the 60m (8.70), 200m (24.29), 300m (40.27) and 400m (56.12). 

In high school, Ashley was an 11-time NYSPHAA State Champion and holds the state record in the 300m of 38.15.  She holds lieftime bests of 7.01 in the 55m, 11.78 in the 100m, 23.83 in the 200m and 38.15 in the 300m.

She is the daughter of Judy Wilson and Joseph Fulton Jr..  Ashley will major in history and social sciences in education.

ELIJAH MOSLEY

 

Elijah Mosley joins the Virginia Tech track & field program from Wichita, Kan. after competing collegiately for Texas in the 2024 and 2025 seasons and Barton CC from 2022-2023.

Mosley, a sprinter, specializes in the 400m through 800m.  He owns a personal-bests of 20.56 in the 200m, 45.61 in the 400m, 1:02.50 in the 500m, 1:17.22 in the 600m and 1:50.01 in the 800m.

Elijah finished third overall at the 2024 Big 12 Indoor and Outdoor Championships as a member of the 4x400m and garnered First Team All-American honors in 2024 as a member of the 4x400m that went 3:01.41 at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.  He was a nine-time NJCAA All-American and was the NJCAA Outdoor National Champion in the 400m in 2022 (47.22).

He is the son of Theresa Ball and Isaiah Mosley and has eight siblings, Christal, Aniya, Terri, Makiya, Daijah, Damaryia and Josiah.  His sister, Christal, competed collegiately in track & field for Barton CC, Alabama and Kentucky.

Tezkratt_Nabil

NABIL TEZKRATT

 

Nabil Tezkratt joins the Virginia Tech track & field program from Dagenham, London after competing collegiately for Texas in the 2025 season and UTSA in the 2024 season.

Tezkratt, a sprinter, specializes in the 200m (21.14) and 400m (45.67).

Nabil garnered All-American honors in as a member of the 4x400m in 2024 at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, as well as honorable mention honors for the 4x100m and 400m, while at UTSA.  At Texas, he helped the 4x400m (3:04.42) finish fifth overall at the SEC Outdoor Championships.  

He is the son of Dalila Si-Larbi and has two siblings, Zakaria and Walid.  Tezkratt will major in informatics and data analysis.

Asemota_Marvellous

MARVELLOUS ASEMOTA

 

Marvellous Asemota joins the Virginia Tech track & field program from Benin, Nigeria after competing collegiately for Southern Louisiana in the 2024 and 2025 seasons.

Asemota, a sprinter, specializes in the 60m (7.46), 100m (11.71) and 200m (23.96).

Marvellous finished top five in the 100m (5th, 11.88) and 200m (4th, 24.01) at the 2025 Southland Conference Outdoor Championships and top seven in the 60m (5th, 7.58) and 200m (7th, 24.56) at the 2025 Southland Conference Indoor Championships.

She is the daughter of Philomena and Julius Asemota and has three siblings, Joshua, Divine and Ella.  Marvellous will major in kinesiology and exercise science with double minors in psychology and coaching.
