BLACKSBURG – The Virginia Tech men’s soccer team is eager to hit the pitch in 2025 as the student-athletes begin matriculating back to campus. Get to know the athletes who have joined the program since the fall season concluded with our summer introductory series.
Next up is keeper Leo Ledin.
Ledin, a goalkeeper from Stockholm, Sweden, will join the maroon and orange this upcoming season. Prior to Virginia Tech, he played for Wofford College where he started all 17 matches in goal with a record of 48 saves and a .773 save percentage. He grabbed the honors of most clean sheets by a freshman goalkeeper in Wofford’s history, All-SoCon Freshman Team, and Top 100 Freshman (No. 44). Before Wofford, he played with AIK/P19 Allsvenskan, the highest level of men’s association football for Swedish under-19 teams.
