Hokie ClubBLACKSBURG –The Hokie Club is excited to announce the return of Triumph Together, a 25-hour giving campaign set for August 20–21, 2025. This annual initiative unites Hokie Nation in support of our 22 varsity sports and nearly 600 student-athletes, now more vital than ever in today’s evolving landscape of college athletics.
"We’re entering a transformational moment in college athletics. The future success of Virginia Tech depends on our ability to adapt,” said Danny White, Executive Associate AD/Administration and Support Programs. “That means stepping up our commitment to fundraising, of which Triumph Together is an effort towards. This gives Hokie Nation the chance to directly impact our student-athletes and keep Virginia Tech competitive on the national stage. No matter the size of the gift, we are grateful and thankful for your support. We are in this together!"
Fans, alumni, and supporters will have the opportunity to contribute to specific teams, support programs or the Hokie Scholarship Fund, philanthropically providing essential resources for the student-athlete experience at Virginia Tech to kick off the 2025-26 academic year.
Giving Challenges
Teams and support programs will be able to unlock extra funding from numerous challenges during the 25-hour span of Triumph Together. Those challenges include:
Overall Leaderboard: The top five teams or support programs with the most total unique gifts will be able to unlock bonus funding.
Former Student-Athlete Challenge: Calling all Hokie student-athlete alumni! The team with the most gifts from student-athlete alumni will unlock bonus funding.
50 States Challenge: The program with the gifts deriving from the most states will unlock additional funding to their Triumph Together total.
Final Sprint: End strong! The program with the most individual gifts in the final hour of Triumph Together on Aug. 21 will receive bonus funding.
Become an Ambassador
Tech fans are encouraged to sign up to be an ambassador to get their personal giving link to share. If two unique gifts are made through that link, ambassadors will earn a Virginia Tech Nike hat! Ambassadors are encouraged to compete with one another, as the top five ambassadors with the most unique gifts can choose from a variety of Virginia Tech Athletics prizes and experiences.
