BLACKSBURG, Va. – As one of just two public universities with a full-time Corps of Cadets, Virginia Tech takes pride in its deep-rooted military heritage. In tribute to the brave men and women who serve our nation, Virginia Tech Athletics is proud to continue the Tickets for Troops initiative. 

Through a continued partnership with the Veteran Tickets Foundation (Vet Tix), this program gives Hokie fans a powerful way to give back—by sending veterans, active-duty service members, and their families to Lane Stadium to experience the energy of Hokie football firsthand. 

Fans can donate in $25 increments, and Virginia Tech Athletics will match every gift to cover the full cost of a game ticket. 

Whether you’re a Hokie alum, a proud supporter, or simply looking to show gratitude to those who serve, this is your chance to make a game day unforgettable for someone in uniform. 

Tickets will be distributed to veterans and active-duty service members and their families via VetTix.org. Those eligible to receive tickets are encouraged to click here to register.

About Vet Tix 
The Veteran Tickets Foundation (Vet Tix) is a national 501c3 nonprofit founded by veterans dedicated to support and honor the U.S. military community, veterans and their families. The Vet Tix mission is to provide tickets to sporting events, concerts, performing arts and family activities aimed at improving mental welfare and enriching the lives of military service members and veterans.
