BLACKSBURG – Head coach Pete D’Amour has announced the addition of Addy Foster to the 2025 signing class.
“We’re grateful that Addy and her family decided to join us in Blacksburg,” D’Amour said. “She’s a versatile player and a proven collegiate left-handed hitter. Through talking with her, it’s evident that Addy has the qualities we look for when adding players into our program. She’s hard working and wants to do whatever it takes to help us win. We’re looking forward to Addy being a Hokie!”
Foster had a stellar previous two seasons at Stetson. Playing shortstop, Foster was a two-year starter for the Hatters. She finished her two years batting .368 with 117 hits and 59 RBIs. She also posted a .466 on-base percentage over two seasons and recorded 39 stolen bases.
Last season, the Second Team All-ASUN honoree started all 56 games she appeared in. She led the Hatters in multiple offensive categories, including batting average (.411), hits (72), triples (7) and RBIs (45). She drew a team-high 33 walks en route to her .505 on-base percentage and had 15 steals.
She was crucial in several of Stetson’s ASUN Tournament wins. She went 1-for-1 with one RBI in the Hatter’s 7-1 win over Austin Peay (May 7) and then aided Stetson to a berth in the ASUN Semifinals by going 3-for-3 with one RBI and four runs scored against Austin Peay (May 9)
The Lockport, Ill., native was a star in her rookie campaign as well as she started 47 games and batted .314 over 140 at bats. She totaled 14 RBIs and scored 31 runs.
Foster was tabbed a three-time All-State honoree and earned First Team honors as a senior at Lockport Township.
