BLACKSBURG – Valentine Delon, a rising junior on the Virginia Tech women’s golf team, displayed great poise in her first-ever Ladies European Tour event, carding a 4-under 209 (69-69-71) to tie for 10th at the Jabra Ladies Open.

The tournament, held May 22-24 at the Evian Resort Golf Club (par 71, 6,264 yards) in France, is part of the LET and serves as the European qualifier for the Evian Championship, which is one of the five majors in women's golf.

Competing on home soil, the Paris, France native remained consistent throughout the event, securing low-amateur honors among elite international competition.

Sara Kouskova of the Czech Republic won the event behind a 10-under 203 (66-70-67). Shannon Tan of Singapore finished two shots back at 8-under 205 (70-67-68).
