The Hokies, who reaped an at-large berth, will be the No. 7 seed in the Gold Canyon Regional, which will be contested May 5-7.

Tech will be joined in the Gold Canyon field by fellow ACC member Cal, the No. 6 seed at the site. Oregon, ranked No. 5 in the country, is the top seed at the site, followed by regional host Arizona State, Auburn, Mississippi State and Oklahoma State. Twelve ACC teams advanced to the NCAA regional round.

The Gold Canyon Regional will consist of 54 holes of stroke play, 18 holes each day.
