Tech falls to the Cal Golden Bears at home

BLACKSBURG – The Hokies fall to the Cal Golden Bears on Sunday afternoon, 6-1.

Mila Mulready continued her winning streak with her fifth straight win over Cal’s Sophie Hernandez. The freshman went up 6-4 in the first set before dropping the second 6-0. She responded big in the third set, winning 6-1 to grab the match and give the Hokies their only point of the day.

Tech fell on the other five courts in close matchups with the Golden Bears, unable to pull out any complete wins.
