BLACKSBURG — Behind Lani White's team-high 18 points and career-high seven rebounds, No. 1-seeded Virginia Tech women's basketball ran past North Carolina A&T, 61-45, in the first round of the WBIT on Thursday at Carilion Clinic Court at Cassell Coliseum.
With the win, the Hokies advance to the second round of the WBIT and will play host to Texas Tech. The second-round game will take place on Sunday at 4 p.m. ET on ESPN+ in Blacksburg.

- At 10 a.m., the top three Hokie Scholarship Fund levels (Hokie Stone, Hokie Scholar and Hokie Ambassador) and students will receive access to tickets.
- At noon, all remaining Hokie Scholarship Fund donors (as of March 1, 2024) and 2024-25 women's basketball season ticket holders will receive access to tickets.
- At 2 p.m, a limited number of tickets will be made available to the general public with a ticket order limit of six (6) tickets.
