Divers take on Zone A Championships

Nathan Cox and Rocky Ramsland qualified for NCAA Championships at Zone A Championships this week.

PISCATAWAY, N.J.- The Hokie divers had a successful showing at the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships. 

 

Nathan Cox qualified for the NCAA Championship in all three events, where he posted a 669.30 in 1m finals, 662.85 in 3m finals and 532.55 in platform finals.

Rocky Ramsland also qualified on 3m and platform. The sophomore recorded a 763.15 on 3m and 540.60 on platform. 

Jacob Fisher placed seventh overall in the platform finals with a 594.80. He posted a 699.50 in the 3m finals and a 625.25 in the 1m finals. 

Grace Austin earned 11th overall on 3m, with a total score of 588.65. Austin competed in the platform final as well, where she posted a 468.15. Peyton Guziec also advanced to the platform final, scoring a 449.05.

The women’s swim team travels to Federal Way, Wash. for the 2025 NCAA Championship March 19-22.
