SAALFELDEN, Austria – Mikki Easter has inked her first professional contract with FC Pinzgau Saalfelden in the 2. Frauen-Bundesliga, the second league competition for women’s soccer in Germany and Austria.
“I am extremely excited to continue playing,” Easter said. “I am thankful for Virginia Tech and Marquette for preparing me for this phase in my career and can’t wait to get started with FC Pinzgau Saalfelden!”
Easter appeared in three games for the Hokies in 2024 and posted her first win in a Tech uniform in a 1-0 win over Loyola Maryland on August 29. She played a season-high 45 minutes in the Hokies’ season-opening win against Campbell in her graduate season.
Prior to Virginia Tech, Easter spent four seasons with the Marquette Golden Eagles, starting in 44 of her 45 appearances. She holds a 17-19 career record with 10 shutouts, playing 3,825 career minutes.
FC Pinzgau Saalfelden was founded in 2007 after merging the town’s two top clubs, 1. Saalfeldner SK (founded in 1947) and ESV Saalfleden (founded in 1952). The team finished sixth in the 2. Frauen-Bundesliga last season, with a record of 4-3-4.
