Hokie ClubCHARLOTTE, N.C. – Twenty student-athletes on the Virginia Tech football team were named to the 2024 All-ACC Academic Team, the conference announced on Friday afternoon.
The Hokies boast seven student-athletes who are multiple-time honorees on the All-ACC Academic Team, showcasing their academic prowess in the classroom and dedication on the football field.
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. In addition, student-athletes must have competed in at least 50 percent of their team's contests during the season.
In addition, the Hokies' overall team grade point average for the fall semester was a 3.03, while 73 football student-athletes made the Athletic Director's Honor Roll and 28 were named to the Dean's List.
