PALM CITY, Fla. – Sensational sophomore Valentine Delon and the Virginia Tech women's golf team prevailed atop the leaderboard at the Advance Golf Partners Collegiate, which concluded Tuesday at Hammock Creek Golf Club (par 72, 6,143 yards).

The Hokies claimed their third team title (second outright) in program history, shattering their 54-hole record in relation to par in the process. VT won the 2022 Columbia Classic and shared the title at the 2019 Princess Anne Invitational.

Tech signed for a 22-under 842 (275-284-283), cruising to a 36-shot victory – its largest winning margin in program history. The previous best mark for 54 holes was 8-under 856 at the 2017 Minnesota Invitational. The 13-under 275 is an 18-hole school record in relation to par, besting the 12-under 276 shot at the 2018 Golfweek Conference Challenge.

Little Rock placed second in the team standings at 14-over 878, followed by East Tennessee State at 17-over 881.

Three Tech golfers finished in red figures, led by Delon's 8-under 208 (65-70-73). Morgan Ketchum placed second with a 6-under 210 (70-71-69), while Emily Mathews secured fifth at 1-under 215 (76-70-69). Ginnie Lee tied for 10th at 2-over 218 (71-73-74) and Katherine Lemke tied for 14th at 3-over 219 (69-78-72).

Delon joins Ketchum (twice), Emily Mahar, Keerattriya Foocharoen and Elizabeth Bose as the only Tech women's golfers to win a collegiate event.

The Hokies return to action Feb. 24-25 at the Daniel Island Invitational. College of Charleston will host the 54-hole event at Daniel Island Club in Daniel Island, S.C.
