ATLANTA, Ga. --Four Virginia Tech players recorded multiple hits, but the No. 16 Hokies fell to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 11-7 Sunday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Hokies got the scoring started early, putting three runs on the board in the top of the first inning. Virginia Tech scored three times, all of them coming across on a three-run homer off the bat of junior Carson DeMartini.
The Yellow Jackets failed to push any runs across before the Hokies offense got back to their scoring ways the next inning. which brought the score to 6-0 in favor of the Hokies.
Virginia Tech kept Georgia Tech without a run before building their lead to 7-0 in the fourth inning. The Hokies were unable to hold the lead, as Georgia Tech scored 11 times over the remaining five innings to grab the 11-7 win.
