BLACKSBURG - Virginia Tech head women’s tennis coach Terry Ann Zaawacki-Holdren announced the 2025 spring slate.
The Hokies are set to play a total of 24 dual matches with 12 of those being held in the Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center.
The Hokies open the spring on the road in Durham, N.C. against Duke on Jan. 20 at 9 a.m. before returning to the court later that afternoon for a doubleheader against NCCU at 1:30 p.m.
Tech’s first home match will be on Jan. 26, as they face ETSU. The Hokies will continue to play at the Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center over the first weekend of February with matches against Indiana and JMU on Feb. 1 and 2.
The Hokies head back out on the road to play Delaware and Navy on Feb. 7 and 8 before returning home for a full weekend slate of matches ahead of ACC play. Tech will play Marshall on Feb. 14 before a doubleheader on Feb. 16 with Furman in the morning and Richmond in the afternoon.
Virginia Tech plays its first ACC match at home against Georgia Tech on Feb. 21. The Hokies will play Clemson at home on Feb. 23 before heading out onto the road for five matches, three of which are conference matches. The road trip will begin in Arlington, Texas against UTA (Feb. 28) and continue to Dallas and SMU (Mar. 2) then return to the east coast to play NC State (Mar. 7), Wake Forest (Mar. 9), and Coastal Carolina (Mar. 17).
Tech will play four matches at home to round off the month of March, facing off with new ACC foes, Stanford (Mar. 21) and Cal (Mar. 23) ahead of facing Notre Dame (Mar. 28) and Louisville (Mar. 30) to conclude the home slate of the season. The Hokies will finish the season with a three-match road trip, visiting Syracuse (Apr. 4), Boston College (Apr. 6), and Virginia for the Commonwealth Clash on April 10.
The ACC Championship Tournament will take place April 15-20 at the Cary Tennis Center in Cary, NC.
