Men's tennis releases 2025 spring schedule

Virginia Tech men’s tennis announced its spring 20235 schedule on Wednesday.

The Hokies are scheduled to play in 24 matches in the spring, 14 of which are home in Blacksburg.

The season kicks off January 17 at home, with two matches lined up for Tech. The Hokies will face Longwood and Richmond as their first opponents of the spring. 

Non-conference play will close out in mid-February when the Hokies face Tulane on Valentine’s Day on their home court. 

Conference play begins on February 28 against North Carolina in Chapel Hill. The Hokies continue their weekend in the Tar Heel State on March 2, taking on Duke in Durham. Two more North Carolina teams travel to Blacksburg the following weekend, with Tech facing Wake Forest on March 7 and NC State on March 9.

The Hokies head to Dallas on March 13 to play SMU. March 16 the squad travels to play Boston College. 

On March 21, the Hokies play Stanford, then March 23 they play California – both at Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center. 

The Hokies hit the road the following weekend to take on Louisville and Notre Dame, March 28 and 30, respectively. 

The final two matchups at home take place at the beginning of April. Tech faces Clemson on April 4 and Georgia Tech April 6. 

The Hokies round out the regular season with the Commonwealth Clash in Charlottesville, battling rival UVA. 

The ACC Championships will take place from April 16-20 in Cary, N.C. 

NCAA Regionals will undergo May 2-4, and NCAA Super Regionals will be May 10.
