BLACKSBURG – In preparation for the regular season finale, Virginia Tech football met with the media on Tuesday afternoon. Head coach Brent Pry opened the press conference to disclose the current status of the quarterback room and the importance of the matchup against Virginia. Running back Bhayshul Tuten also stepped to the podium after Pry to discuss the opportunities in Saturday's contest. Read and watch below to see what they had to say:

Head coach Brent Pry

On women's soccer's NCAA Tournament run:
"Let's start off by congratulating our women's soccer team. Awesome run, awesome effort right now. Elite Eight, we wish them the best of luck. Pulling for those ladies."

On William "Pop" Watson III getting first-team practice reps:
"Obviously, right now, he'll get the reps with the ones in practice today. And he needs it, and he'll benefit from it. Collin Schlee and Kyron Drones have had a ton of reps all year. Obviously, Kyron for two years. So, Pop getting these significant snaps with the starting group is going to help him. He repped last week, a bunch with the second group. But it'll be good to get him this work."

Running back Bhayshul Tuten

On battling through injuries to finish the season:
"Just finish it with my guys. Since winter, we've been grinding out to finish the season strong and that's my goal to stick by my brothers and not give up so early just because of a little bang up. So I've got time to heal after the season. So, I'd rather finish out the last couple of games for the year and then take a couple of weeks off and get healthy."
