Virginia Tech men's soccer opens ACC tournament play on Wednesday against three-seed Duke

Hokies get rematch against No. 5 Blue Devils

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Virginia Tech (No. 14 seed) will start the 2024 ACC Men’s Soccer Championship on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Durham, N.C. against No. 5 Duke (No. 3 seed).

In its journey to the postseason, the Hokies faced each of the top-five seeded teams in the ACC tournament.

Tech is coming off a 2-2 draw against No. 2 Clemson (No. 2 seed) on Friday evening. The Hokies picked up a win against No. 12 seed Syracuse and a draw against No. 12 NC State (No. 8 seed) along the way, as well.

The matchup with the Blue Devils will be the second of the season, as the Hokies faced them on Oct. 25 and fell 1-0.
