Hokie ClubBLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech football’s conference matchup against Georgia Tech is slated for Saturday, Oct. 26 at Lane Stadium at noon ET on ACC Network.
The Hokies will host the Yellow Jackets for the 20th overall matchup for the programs. It also marks the second contest between the two teams with head coach Brent Pry at the helm. The latest matchup took place in Blacksburg in 2022, which was a tightly contested game that ended in a one-point margin of victory.
An interesting note: for fans attending the Week 9 contest, it will be the first time since 2010 that Virginia Tech plays Georgia Tech during the Maroon Effect promotion. The official Maroon Effect shirt is available for purchase and is a great way to participate in the theme game.
Before its Homecoming game, Tech is set for a primetime matchup against Boston College on Oct. 17 at 7:30 p.m. The matchup, which is the 30th anniversary of the Hokies playing on Thursday night, is sold out.
