Hokie ClubBLACKSBURG – Precisely one month from ringing in a new season on the diamond, the Virginia Tech baseball program declared on Tuesday first pitch times for its 2024 home schedule as the eager Hokies keep counting down the days until gates open at English Field at Atlantic Union Bank Park.
All times appearing on Virginia Tech's 2024 schedule are Eastern and – like all dates and opponents – are subject to change.
For the opening two months of the regular season (February and March), Virginia Tech's weekend series taking place at English Field are scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. on Fridays, 4 p.m. on Saturdays and 1 p.m. on Sundays. Contrary to this format, the Hokies' home ACC series against Pitt – running from Thursday, March 28, to Saturday, March 30 – is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. on each day.
All remaining weekend series at English Field – except for Tech's two-day series against Ohio (May 4-5) – are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. on Fridays, 7 p.m. on Saturdays and 1 p.m. on Sundays.
On Saturday, May 4, Virginia Tech's doubleheader against Ohio is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. The Hokies and the Bobcats will conclude their series on Sunday, May 5, at 1 p.m.
Additionally, Tech's midweek games are scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. during the months of February and March and at 7 p.m. during the months of April and May.
