Pry, Drones speak following tight contest against No. 7 Miami

BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech football took the podium late Friday evening following a hard-fought conference matchup against Miami. Head coach Brent Pry and starting signal caller Kyron Drones spoke to the media following the 38-34 defeat at Hard Rock Stadium. Read and watch below to see what they had to say.

Head coach Brent Pry

Opening Statement:
"I hope they got it right. I'm very proud of our team and our coaches. Much closer to the team that we need to be week in and week out. Miami is a very talented football team. We needed to play our best. Incredibly disappointed for our team right now. But I'll take our players, our coaches, and Lane Stadium any day."

Quarterback Kyron Drones

On the production of the offense and defense:
"Just because we work just like they work each and every day. We already know what our O-Line can do and when our playmakers have the ball, what we can do. So, we already know we can go toe-to-toe with anybody as long as we play like it. And we finally play like it today and I'm proud of this team and we're just gonna keep working."
