RALEIGH, N.C. - The Hokies (6-5) opened conference action on Friday night with a 0-3 loss to NC State (6-3) in Reynolds Coliseum.

GAME NOTES

  • Belle Patrick led the Virginia Tech offense with eight kills, hitting .538 in the match.
  • Leandra Mangual Duran led back row defense with 12 digs, averaging four per set.
  • Jasmine Robinson led defense at the net with one block solo and three block assists, her seventh game of the season with three or more assists, and also contributed six kills on a .556 clip.
  • Elizabeth Aylward dished two aces in the contest and Aisha Keric served one.

The Hokies continue on the road for ACC opening weekend, moving to Winston-Salem to face Wake Forest on Sunday at 1 p.m.
