BLACKSBURG – Following its three-point loss to Rutgers, Virginia Tech football head coach Brent Pry spoke with the local media on Saturday evening. Running back Bhayshul Tuten joined Pry at the podium after a three-rushing touchdown performance on the day. Read and watch below to see what they had to say:

Head coach Brent Pry

On the team's performance to start the season:
"Yeah, obviously there's signs out there in each of these four games. The wins and the losses of the team that we can be. We just haven't put it all together. Another slow start today, you can't dig yourself in a hole. As proud as I am in the way we battled back, you can't dig yourself in a hole. We got to coach better and play better early in the game. But it's a four-quarter game. Games like today prove that. You got a chance to win it at the end. And they made two good plays, and we didn't make enough of them."

Running back Bhayshul Tuten

On the offensive surge in the fourth quarter:
"I think we just started playing our brand of ball. You know, players making plays and Coach Tebow calling the game how I think we wanted it to be called. So, I think that's where we started to pick up and got more comfortable."
