BLACKSBURG - Virginia Tech defensive lineman Antwaun Powell-Ryland has been named the ACC Defensive Lineman of the Week while wide receiver Jaylin Lane is the ACC Receiver of the Week for their efforts in the 37-17 win over Old Dominion.

Powell-Ryland (6-3, 252) tallied 7 tackles, including four sacks along with two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery in the victory. He matched his own school record-tying total of four sacks from the 2023 game against Wake Forest. APR joins Bruce Smith as the only two players in Virginia Tech history to record at least four sacks in multiple games.

Lane (5-10, 196) registered seven receptions for 106 yards and a touchdown against the Monarchs. His 25-yard TD reception opened the scoring and his 46-yard catch set up the Hokies' second touchdown of the night.

This is the first time in his career Lane has earned ACC weekly honors and the second for Powell-Ryland.
