FOX and Women’s Sports Network to provide national coverage of entire Elevance Health Women’s Fort Myers Tip-Off

FORT MYERS, Fla. (July 16, 2024) – For the second straight year, FOX and Women’s Sports Network will carry games live from the Elevance Health Women’s Fort Myers Tip-Off, which will feature eight premier college basketball programs across two divisions from Nov. 28-30 at Florida SouthWestern State College in Fort Myers, Fla.

Travel packages for fans looking to join South Carolina, Iowa State, Purdue, MTSU, Michigan, Virginia Tech, Belmont and Davidson are now available and can be secured by visiting www.womensfortmyerstipoff.com/travel. The Westin Cape Coral at Marina Village and the Marriott Sanibel Harbour are the event’s host hotels and fans will have the opportunity to stay where the teams stay and experience resort life to the fullest. At this time, the only way to guarantee tickets to the Elevance Health Women’s Fort Myers Tip-Off is through official fan travel packages. Ticket packages, based on availability, will go on sale this fall.

FOX will once again broadcast the opening game of the Elevance Health Women’s Fort Myers Tip-Off when defending national champion South Carolina takes on preseason No. 10 Iowa State. The contest is slated for Noon ET. Last year, FOX carried live the Thanksgiving Day matchup between Tennessee and Indiana, which at the time drew the largest women’s college basketball audience ever on FOX.

The remaining seven games of the Elevance Health Women’s Fort Myers Tip-Off will air live on the Women’s Sports Network, a free, ad-supported streaming television network and the first and only 24/7 platform dedicated exclusively to female athletes. Women’s Sports Network is available in over 95 million homes with distribution on Amazon Freevee, Fubo, LG Channels on LG Smart TVs, Local Now, Plex, Tubi, VIZIO WatchFree+, Roku and XumoPlay.

The Fort Myers Tip-Off has established itself as one of the preeminent early season college basketball events on both the women’s and men’s calendars. For the third time, Intersport, owner and operator of the Tip-Off, will host the top women’s and men’s programs for a weeklong celebration of college basketball during Thanksgiving Week. In total 16 women’s and men’s games will be contested over a six-day period from Nov. 25-30. Eight men’s games across two divisions will lead off the schedule of events from Nov. 25-27 and will conclude with the Elevance Health Women’s Fort Myers Tip-Off Nov. 28-30 in an event headlined by three-time national champion South Carolina, along with perennial tournament powers Iowa State, Michigan, Purdue, Virginia Tech and MTSU, among others.
