Six Hokies place on women's tennis All-ACC Academic Team

Aksu receives third honor in three years, three others place for second time

BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech women's tennis placed six student-athletes on the 2024 All-ACC Academic Team, the league announced on Tuesday.
 
Semra Aksu, a junior studying Business Information Technology, earned a spot on the team for the third time in as many seasons at Virginia Tech. 
 
Katie Andreini, a senior that graduated in May with degree in Exercise and Health Sciences, capped off her time at Tech with back-to-back academic honors. Junior Charlotte Cartledge, who studies Management Consulting and Analytics, placed on the team for a second time, as well. In her last year of eligibility with the Hokies, Erika Cheng, a Systems Engineering student, was named to the team for the second time.
 
Senior Tamara Barad Itzhaki, who studies Architecture, was named to the team for the first time, along with junior Dariya Radulova, who studies Management.
