Hokie ClubBLACKSBURG – Seven student-athletes on the Virginia Tech men's tennis team earned spots on the 2024 All-ACC Academic Team, the league announced on Wednesday.
Three Hokies are repeat recipients, headlined by senior Ryan Fishback (Biochemistry), who earned the nod for a fourth time in his career. Fellow senior Hugo Maia (Management) received his third recognition, while junior Alberto Orso (Finance) was applauded for a second-consecutive season.
Seniors Michael Shepheard (Communication) and Alex Ix (Biological Sciences), junior Maxime St. Hilaire (Mechanical Engineering) and freshman Benjamin Pomeranets (Microbiology) were honored for the first time, as well.
