BLACKSBURG – Former Virginia Tech standout Nickeil Alexander-Walker and the Minnesota Timberwolves have clinched a spot in the 2024 NBA playoffs. The Timberwolves will be competing in the postseason for the third straight year.

Minnesota (51-23) is currently in third place, one game back of Northwest Division leader Oklahoma City (52-22). Alexander-Walker is averaging 7.6 points per game, which is his highest scoring average since the 2021-22 season.
