In the semifinals of the ACC Tournament on Saturday, top-seeded Virginia Tech fell to fourth-seeded Notre Dame by a score 82-53.
Pouring in 24 points, guard Georgia Amoore led the Hokies offensively. Forward Olivia Summiel chipped in 10 points, to be the other Hokie in double figures.
Next up for Tech is the Selection Sunday, which will take place on Sunday, March 17 at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN.

Tech made three triples in the first half, with Amoore, Carys Baker and Olivia Summiel each hitting one apiece.

In a low-scoring quarterfinal bout, top-seeded Virginia Tech women's basketball defeated ninth-seeded Miami (Fla.) 55-47 on Friday in the ACC Tournament at Greensboro Coliseum.
Guard Georgia Amoore led the way for the Hokies (23-6, 14-4 ACC) with a game-high 27 points, including going 10-for-12 from the charity stripe.
With the win, Tech will face fourth-seeded Notre Dame (24-6, 13-5) on Saturday at noon ET on ACC Network in the semifinals.

No. 1-seeded Virginia Tech women's basketball leads No. 9-seeded Miami (Fla.) 25-20 at halftime of the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament at Greensboro Coliseum on Friday.
Forward Clara Strack has a team-high eight points and three rebounds. Both teams went 10-for-29 from the field for a 34.5 field-goal percentage. Tech made three 3-pointers whole holding the Hurricanes to zero triples.
Before the game, sideline reporter Angel Gray said that head coach Kenny Brooks told her that center Elizabeth Kitley will be out the entire ACC Tournament and re-evaluated next week ahead of the NCAA Tournament.

THURSDAY, MARCH 7 @ 6:00 P.M.
No. 1 seed Virginia Tech's quarterfinal matchup is solidified following No. 9 seed Miami's 60-59 victory over No. 8 seed North Carolina. The Hokies and Hurricanes are slated to tip off Friday at 1:30 p.m. ET at Greensboro Coliseum Complex, with the game airing on ACC Network.
