A special day awaits in Blacksburg on Sunday, and we want you to be equipped to partake in all of the fun at Carilion Clinic Court at Cassell Coliseum.
The atmosphere should be electric, with the game being announced a sellout, marking Tech's fifth sellout this season – a program record. Fans still seeking ticket options for the matchup are encouraged to visit SeatGeek, the official secondary ticket marketplace of Virginia Tech Athletics.
Get ready for gameday with five things to know for ESPN College GameDay Covered by State Farm and the No. 8 Hokies' clash with the Tar Heels.
1. GameDay Is In The House
The iconic show will make the trek to Blacksburg, making Tech the first-ever ACC women's basketball program to host. The one-hour show will start at 11 a.m. ET and features an all-star crew, including Elle Duncan, Andraya Carter, Carolyn Peck, Holly Rowe and Chiney Ogwumike. The State Farm bus will arrive on Friday and be located in the Hahn Hurst Basketball Practice Center parking lot. A sign-making station will be held at the Washington Street entrance before doors open.

2. Doors Opening and Seating
Doors will open for students on the Washington Street side of Cassell at 9:30 a.m. The first 100 students at ESPN College GameDay will receive a T-shirt upon entry. Doors for the general public will open from the Beamer Way side of Cassell at 9:45 a.m. To help maximize the viewing experience, fans will be asked to sit on the west side, which is behind the teams' benches.
The north and west entrances will be the only entrances available for the show, with no entry through the Student-Athlete Performance Center. Additionally, no courtside seating will be available for the show.
3. Parking and Reentry
Fans who do not have a parking pass for the game against UNC at 2 p.m. are encouraged to park in the Chicken Hill lot (Lot 5). Fans with women's basketball parking passes may park in their pre-assigned lot.
Following the show at noon, fans will need to exit the building out of the west side and can wait in the Cassell Circle to receive priority upon reentry when the gates open at 1 p.m. Students will leave out of the north side but may wait in the lobby to reenter. Students who do not attend College GameDay but are attending the game will follow normal entrance procedures by entering through the Hahn Hurst side of Cassell. The student ticket distribution will open at 9 a.m. on Sunday.
4. Senior Day
One of the most legendary senior classes ever will be honored pregame at 1:39 p.m., so be sure to get there early to celebrate Georgia Amoore, Cayla King, Elizabeth Kitley and Olivia Summiel.
5. Promotions and Activations
The final HokieVision Games will take place and fans will have the opportunity to pick up a T-shirt that represents the team they want to win. The popular Red Panda will perform the halftime act, while Virginia Tech men's basketball players Hunter Cattoor and Sean Pedulla will be signing autographs on the concourse at Portal 17. CMG will pass out T-shirts at Section 5, as well.
