CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Seventeen Virginia Tech student-athletes from the men's and women's cross country teams earned All-ACC Academic honors on Friday, announced the Atlantic Coast Conference.
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0-grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. In addition, student-athletes must compete in either the ACC Championship or NCAA Championship in the sport of cross country.
The men's and women's cross country teams earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors on Wednesday with both teams earning above a 3.0-grade point average in the Fall semester.
