Huntington, W.Va. - The Hokies pick up their first road win of the season with a 4-3 triumph over Miami (OH).
The Hokies kept their fine form going in doubles, as Katie Andreini and Dariya Radulova clinched the doubles point with a 7-6 (9-7) tiebreak win. Charlotte Cartledge and Laima Frosch were paired up on Court 3 for the first time this season and secured a 6-3 win.
Katie Andreini was on Court 1 today, picking up a straight-set 6-3, 6-4 win over Nishita Saravanan. On Court 4, Laima Frosch picked up her second win as a Hokie, with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Sara Zalukar. Rounding off the Hokies for the win, Charlotte Cartledge was making her season debut in singles, winning 6-1, 6-2 over Lovisa Valentinsson.
Dariya Radulova started her singles match strong, winning the first set 6-4. She dropped the second set 7-5 and unfortunately, had to retire in the third at 5-2.
