The Virginia Tech women's basketball team is ranked 11th in the AP Poll the organization announced Monday afternoon.

The Hokies are 12-2 (3-0) on the season following a huge 63-62 victory over the third-ranked NC State Wolfpack at Cassell Sunday afternoon. Trailing by 13 in the third quarter, Tech climbed back into the game and won it with an Elizabeth Kitley shot with 0.9 seconds to go. The capacity crowd of 8,925 was the first regular season sellout in program history.

Tech is back home on Carilion Clinic Court at Cassell Coliseum on Thursday, Jan. 11 for an 8 p.m. tip against the 11-2 (1-2) Miami Hurricanes. That game can be seen on ACC Network. Ticket packages are available HERE.

Virginia Tech faculty/staff can claim up to two tickets per Virginia Tech staff ID at the Cassell Coliseum ticket booth for select games this winter. Individuals can present up to four eligible IDs at one time and claim up to eight tickets (while supplies last). Tickets must be claimed the day of the game, starting 90 minutes from tip off.
