No. 17 Virginia Tech women's basketball is gearing up to face its in-state rival, Virginia. The Hokies will host the first matchup in the Smithfield Commonwealth Clash on Thursday, Feb. 1 at 6 p.m. ET at Carilion Clinic Court in Cassell Coliseum.
Securing victories in their past four matchups against the Cavaliers, the Hokies are determined to add more points to their tally in the Commonwealth Clash. If Tech wins, it'll give the Hokies a half point in the Commonwealth Clash, presented by Smithfield. The score for the Commonwealth Clash currently is 1-5.5 in favor of Virginia.
