The Virginia Tech women's basketball team is ranked 19th in the AP Poll the organization announced Monday afternoon.
The Hokies are 14-4 (5-2) on the season following a 74-62 victory over Clemson at Cassell on Sunday afternoon. Elizabeth Kitley scored 31 points, her fifth 30-point game of the season, to lead all scorers in the contest. She went 15-22 from the field, with those 15 field goals constituting a program record for a game at Cassell. The graduate student also eclipsed 1,000 career field goals in the game.
Tech is back home on Carilion Clinic Court at Cassell Coliseum on Thursday, Jan. 25 for a 6 p.m. tip against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. That game can be seen on ACCNX. Ticket packages are available HERE.
