BLACKSBURG - Virginia Tech head men's tennis coach Jim Thompson announced the Hokies' 2024 spring slate on Wednesday. 
 
The Hokies are set to play a total of 20 dual matches with 13 of those being held in the Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center. 
 
The Hokies open the spring with five home matches, starting with the College of Charleston on Jan. 15. The Hokies will then play host to Charlotte and Bellarmine on Sunday, Jan. 28 before finishing this homestand against Davidson and St. Bonaventure on Feb. 3. 
 
Tech will play their only away non-conference match in the Volunteer State at Middle Tennessee (Feb. 9), before hosting Georgetown and George Mason on Feb. 18 to close out non-conference play. 
 
ACC play starts with back-to-back home matches and will alternate with two matches at home, followed by two away matches. The home ACC schedule begins with NC State (March 1) and Wake Forest (March 3). Tech then travels to the Tar Heel State where they'll play Duke (March 8) and North Carolina (March 10). The Hokies return home with matches against Notre Dame (March 15) and Louisville (March 17). Virginia Tech finishes March in the Sunshine State against Florida State (March 22) and Miami (March 24). 
 
Virginia Tech's April schedule begins with a home match against Virginia in the Commonwealth Clash on Apr. 3, followed by Boston College (April 5). The Hokies finish their regular season with away matches against Georgia Tech (April 11) and Clemson (April 13). 
 
The ACC Men's Tennis Championships will take place April 17-21 at the Cary Tennis Center in Cary, NC.
