Virginia Tech athletics and the Hokie Club are pleased to announce that Triumph Together, the athletic department's annual giving blitz, will take place from August 22-23, 2023.
Shortened from two and a half days in previous years to now just 25 hours, Triumph Together will kick off at noon on Tuesday, Aug. 22 and conclude on Wednesday, Aug. 23 at 1 p.m. With the shorter time span, Hokie Nation is encouraged more than ever to utilize Triumph Together to support the programmatic needs of all of Virginia Tech athletics' 22 sports and support programs.
"This is such an important day for all 22 of our varsity sports and support programs in Blacksburg," said Whit Babcock, Director of Athletics. "Hokie Nation has stepped up during Triumph Together in such an impressive way in the past, and we know they can do it again."
Tech fans are also encouraged to sign up to become ambassadors for Triumph Together. These ambassadors will be provided a personalized giving link to share, providing them a chance to earn exclusive Virginia Tech rewards based on the amount of gift referrals they make. Thanks to the help of some incredibly generous Hokies, philanthropic matches have been provided for each team and support program. These matches can be unlocked throughout the span of Triumph Together with the help of the rest of Hokie Nation. In addition to the various matches, Tech fans are also encouraged to participate in giving challenges that can unlock bonus funding for their favorite Hokie sport and individual prizes.
