BLACKSBURG – With the ACC Coastal Division race heating up, the Virginia Tech baseball team (24-14, 10-10 ACC) will vie to tackle another league adversary this weekend when it welcomes North Carolina (26-15, 9-10 ACC) to English Field at Atlantic Union Bank Park for a three-game series (April 28-30).
Saturday's game between the Hokies and the Tar Heels will air live on ACC Network with coverage beginning at 7 p.m.; Friday and Sunday's games will stream live on ACC Network Extra with coverage starting at 1 p.m. on both days. Fans may also listen to all three games as called by the voice of Tech baseball, Evan Hughes, on the Virginia Tech Sports Network.

Individual tickets are priced at $10 while youth ages 6 to 18 are set at $5 (children ages 5 and under are free). Virginia Tech students receiving tickets through the student lottery portal may also access home games for free.

WHAT'S AT STAKE
- Virginia Tech has won two consecutive multi-game series against North Carolina, once in Blacksburg (2021) and once in Chapel Hill (2022). The Hokies' 2022 series win at Bryson Field at Boshamer Stadium marked the program's first all-time road series victory against the Tar Heels.
- Both Virginia Tech and North Carolina are considered by D1Baseball this week to be riding the bubble of the 64-team NCAA Division I Baseball Championship field. The Hokies are considered among the outlet's Last Five In while the Tar Heels are residing among the First Five Out.
- During the 2022 regular season, Tech posted 12-1 and 7-3 victories at No. 18 North Carolina while breaking out to a 3-0 lead during Sunday's series finale.
