BLACKSBURG – The 2022 Regular Season Champion Virginia Tech softball team opens its season on Friday, hosting N.C. State in the first ACC series of the season. Here's what to expect this year at Tech Softball Park.
VENUE INFORMATION
All home Virginia Tech Softball games are played at Tech Softball Park (240 Beamer Way). Gates to Tech Softball Park (TSP) open 90 minutes before game time. Seating is general admission for all regular season home games.
Concessions and restrooms are available to fans on game day in Rector Fieldhouse.
PARKING
The nearest parking lots to Tech Softball Park available to fans are Lot 2 (Stadium Lot) and Chicken Hill Lot. Fans parking in these lots Monday through Friday, between 7 AM and 10 PM, will need to heed campus parking signage and policies as well as pay to park using the university's ParkMobile platform.

TICKETING
Admissions to Virginia Tech regular season softball games are free with no tickets required for entry into the park.
CONCESSIONS
TSP concessions will continue to use cashless payment this season and will require a debit or credit card for purchase. Fans who do not have access to a debit or credit card should consider buying a prepaid card at Kroger in advance of the game.
Concessions will continue to have fan-friendly items and prices. Premium options will become available for fans once the weather warms as the season progresses. Alcohol sales at Tech Softball Park will end at the end of the 5th inning on single-game days. During doubleheaders, alcohol sales will end at the end of the 5th inning of the second game.
CLEAR BAG POLICY
Virginia Tech's clear bag policy remains in place for TSP. This policy helps provide a safer environment for spectators. Approved bags are limited to:
● Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12'' x 6'' x 12''
● One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)
● Small clutch bag approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap and no larger than 4.5'' x 6.5''

THEME DAYS & PROMOTIONS
