Women’s basketball ranked 15th in AP Poll Monday afternoon

The Virginia Tech women's basketball team is ranked15th in the AP Poll the organization announced Monday afternoon.
 
The Hokies are 5-2 on the season following a loss at defending national champion LSU last week by a score of 82-64. 
 
In that contest Georgia Amoore scored 25 points, her third 20-point performance of the season to lead the Hokies. Elizabeth Kitley also secured her fifth double-double of the season scoring 16 points and grabbing 11 rebounds.

Tech is back home on Carilion Clinic Court at Cassell Coliseum on Wednesday, Dec. 6 for a 6 p.m. tip against the LIU Sharks. That game can be seen on ACC Network Extra. Ticket packages are available HERE.
 
Then on Sunday, Dec. 10 the Hokies take on Radford in their annual Autism Friendly Game. Group ticket packages are still available HERE.
 
Virginia Tech faculty/staff can claim up to two tickets per Virginia Tech staff ID at the Cassell Coliseum ticket booth for select games this winter. Individuals can present up to four eligible IDs at one time and claim up to 8 tickets (while supplies last). Tickets must be claimed the day of the game, starting 90 minutes from tip off.
