BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech Head Coach Marci Byers announced the signing of outside hitter Belle Patrick Monday. A six-foot-one athlete from Cary, North Carolina, Patrick will graduate from Green Hope High School in 2024. At the club level, she competes for NC Academy 18 Diamond.
"Belle is a fierce competitor who will add depth on the pin," Byers said of Patrick. "She's coming from a highly successful HS program and was recognized as one of the top players in North Carolina this past season! She's a coach's kid who understands the value of hard work! Super excited to have her!"
She comes from an athletic family, with her mother playing softball at Palm Beach State and her father playing football at the University of Miami.
Patrick plans to major in business and has an interest in selling medical devices.
