Moving into the 16th week of the NFL season, numerous teams have clinched playoff spots, including an AFC North team, an NFC West team, and two NFC East teams. There are seven available playoff spots, with many teams fighting to claim their ticket.
With three weeks left in the season, former Hokie players continue to showcase their skills from their days in Blacksburg, contesting to sustain or obtain a playoff spot.

Notable Week 15 Performances
LB Tremaine Edmunds
Linebacker Tremaine Edmunds delivered an outstanding performance in Chicago's game against Cleveland, tallying nine total tackles with five solo tackles. Edmunds showcased his skill by intercepting a pass and returning it for a 45-yard touchdown, marking his first career touchdown.
CB Kendall fuller
Cornerback Kendall Fuller was a defensive powerhouse for the Washington Commanders, accumulating 11 total tackles and a fumble recovery against the Los Angeles Rams. According to Pro Football Focus (PFF), Fuller earned his highest tackle grade of the season, grading at 82.8.
LB Divine Deablo
Against the Los Angeles Chargers, linebacker Divine Deablo accumulated a season-high 12 total tackles and two tackles for loss, contributing to a Las Vegas Raiders win. Deablo earned his highest defensive grade of the season from PFF at 85.4 and his highest run defense grade at 90.5.
S Chamarri Conner
The rookie safety for the Kansas City Chiefs, Chamarri Conner, continues to improve each week, collecting four total tackles and one tackle for loss in the Chiefs' win against the New England Patriots. Last week was Conner's highest tackle output this season, earning a grade of 79.3 for overall defense and a 77.6 coverage grade, according to PFF.
S Terrell Edmunds
In the Tennessee Titans' game against the Houston Texans, safety Terrell Edmunds claimed his second sack of the season alongside two tackles. Las Vegas Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs: Monday, Dec. 25 at 1:00 p.m. ET – ABC
Veteran linebacker Deablo and cornerback Brandon Facyson will test their strength against the Chiefs offense, going head-to-head with rookie safety Chamarri Conner in a matchup against fellow former Hokies and AFC West rivals. The Chiefs currently lead the standings at 9-5, with the Raiders following behind at 6-8; both teams are still fighting to clinch a playoff spot.
