BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech football spoke with the media following its game against Louisville. Brent Pry stepped to the podium and was joined by Nasir Peoples to discuss the team's performance.

Read below to see what they had to say.

Head Coach Brent Pry

On learning how to win on the road:
"I think we're still a team that's learning and growing and part of that is learning how to win on the road. We got to look at it as coaches and make sure we're doing the right things. I don't believe in doing it much different. You do the same thing whether you're playing home or away. It's the same hundred-yard field out there, but obviously we got to look at some things. I think it's more about us just playing to our potential. They're playing smart, playing tough, playing physical, and we didn't do that today. I don't know if that has something to do with being on the road or the environment. But certainly in my career won a lot of games on the road. There is not a special recipe that merits wins on the road. You know, you just got play good. You got play better than the team you line up against."

On trying to be aggressive on offense:
"We wanted to be aggressive early in the game offensively. We had some plays dialed up and we didn't get them blocked well enough. You know, where they ran a pressure that the play couldn't handle. We stuck to it and we tried to jumpstart things and they were just opportunistic and took advantage. I mean, they got a great, they got a really nice front. They're a big, strong explosive team. You know, but again, we can certainly play better than that and we have. There'll be some execution things we got to clean up. There'll be some coaching mistakes that we made, but, you know, it'll be a good learning opportunity for us."

Safety Nasir Peoples

On the team mentality entering next game:
"We will watch the film, go in, with a clear mind to get better tomorrow. Just put our best foot forward moving on. Like, we still got two games. Got to find a way to go to Boston College next week and get the job done. So, we got to."
