DURHAM, NC --The Virginia Tech volleyball team fell to the Duke Blue Devils in straight sets (12-25, 13-25, 20-25) Sunday on the road at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
The loss dropped Virginia Tech's record to 12-13 overall and 2-12 in ACC play.
Ava Francis finished with six kills on the day to lead the Hokies attack and 10 digs from Iliana Rodriguez to led Virginia Tech defensively.

SET 2 | Virginia Tech fell in the second set 25-13, digging a 2-0 hole in the match. Virginia Tech trailed by as many as 12 points as Duke grabbed the advantage for good at 9-8 in a set that was tied up three times before the Blue Devils took over the lead.
SET 3 | Virginia Tech couldn't prolong the match and lost in set number three. The Hokies fell behind on the first point and never took the lead before losing the set 25-20.
