Heading deeper into the NFL season, Week 10 is officially in the books, and there's a lot to look forward to with former Virginia Tech football players. The Hokies continue to impress this season, carrying on the legacy from their days in Blacksburg.

Notable Week 10 Performances

TE Logan Thomas
Tight end Logan Thomas had a flawless performance, securing all five of his targets for a total of 40 yards. Thomas' longest reception included a 17-yard grab during a tightly contested game between the Washington Commanders and the Seattle Seahawks.
 
T Christian Darrisaw
According to Pro Football Focus (PFF), offensive tackle Christian Darrisaw has displayed significant improvements across all aspects of his game following his performance in Minnesota's victory against New Orleans. Darrisaw's pass-blocking grade experienced a substantial increase of 22.2 points, reaching 80.7. Additionally, he earned a 73.4 in total offense and a 64.9 run blocking grade.


LB Amare Barno
In a close game between the Carolina Panthers and Chicago Bears, linebacker Amare Barno registered five tackles and a tackle for loss for a season-high performance. According to PFF, Barno's coverage grade increased by 15.9, showcasing his ability to contribute in traditional linebacker roles and pass coverage, further solidifying his versatility and impact on the game.
 
LB Divine Deablo
The Las Vegas Raiders secured a victory against the New York Jets, with linebacker Divine Deablo amassing seven sacks, four of which were solo and three assisted. Deablo also recorded a pass deflection.
 
K Joey Slye
Kicker Joey Slye contributed eight points for the Commanders, connecting on his longest attempt of the game, a 49-yard field goal.
 
Week 11 Matchup
 
New York Giants at Washington Commanders 1:00 p.m. ET – FOX
The Giants will travel to FedEx Field to face the Commanders, with both teams trying to move up the standings in the NFC East. The Giants boast one former Hokie, and the Commanders feature three former Hokie players, including Thomas, Slye, and cornerback Kendall Fuller.
