Get ready for gameday with the pertinent information below.

Parking
Parking lots will be busy, so please plan accordingly. Fans are encouraged to park in the lots they are assigned to. In the event that Lot 1 (Cassell Coliseum Lot) is full, all fans will be redirected to either Lot 2 or Lot 5.

Women's Basketball Giveaways
The first 500 students can claim a reversible 2023 Final Four and 2023 ACC Championship bucket hat at the student entrance (east side of Cassell Coliseum). The student section will be filled with 1,000 shirts for early arriving students to claim one at their seat.

The first 1,500 fans in attendance can claim a reversible 2023 Final Four and 2023 ACC Championship bucket hat at the Promotions Booth located between Portals 1 and 3.

A special poster highlighting the 2023 ACC Championship and 2023 Final Four appearance will be available at the Promotions Booth while supplies last.

Student Tickets and Entry
Students can claim their ticket for the women's game via the lottery system here starting at noon on gameday. Student tickets for the men's game are sold out. New this season for women's basketball, all students must enter on the east side of Cassell Coliseum. Students will use a Tap n Go system to scan their ticket upon entry. Students with men's basketball tickets should plan on re-entering between games if they have tickets to both games, or entering for the men's game after 7:30 p.m. if only attending the men's game.

Clearing Cassell Between Games
All fans will have to depart Cassell Coliseum following the conclusion of the women's basketball game and will then be able to re-enter as soon as possible with their men's ticket. This applies to all fans and students including fans in premium areas and fans with tickets to both events. We expect the women's basketball game to conclude around 7 p.m., with gates for the men's basketball game reopening by 7:30 p.m. at the earliest. It is recommended that fans with tickets to only the men's basketball game arrive in the coliseum area after 7:30 p.m. to allow women's basketball traffic time to clear.

Concessions, Beer Sales
At the conclusion of the third quarter of the women's basketball game, concession stands will stop serving food and alcohol. It will restart when doors open for the men's basketball game and will stop at the 10-minute mark in the second half.

Metal Detectors
As part of Virginia Tech's commitment to ensuring the safety of and providing a secure environment for all attendees, walk-through metal detectors will be implemented at all entrances at Cassell Coliseum starting Monday.

Following guidance from security screening personnel, fans will proceed through metal detectors prior to having their tickets scanned for venue entry. Entrants will not need to remove items such as belts, cell phones, coins, jackets, jewelry, watches, wallets, shoes or other small objects. Please proceed through the detectors at a normal pace.

If additional screening is necessary, security staff will ask the individual to proceed to a secondary screening area, where they will be asked to divest themselves of certain items and pass through again until clear. Those who have prohibited items will have to dispose of them or return those items to their cars before entering the facility.
