Tuten named ACC Special Teams Player of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Virginia Tech running back and kick returner, Bhayshul Tuten has been named ACC Special Teams Player of the Week for his efforts against Florida State on Saturday.

Tuten tallied 156 kick return yards, including a 99-yard touchdown return to open the second half against the Seminoles.
 
This marks the second time this season Tuten has earned weekly conference honors. He was named ACC Running Back of the Week following the win over Pittsburgh, after rushing for 109 yards and catching a 12-yard touchdown pass.
 
The Hokies will host Wake Forest on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET, for its Maroon Effect theme game. Fans are encouraged to wear their maroon team gear and purchase the official Maroon Effect shirt.
